We stayed at Silver Pines Lodge on 6/8-6/10. It was myself, husband, my son and his partner, 3 of our teenage grandsons and 3 of their friends. The cabin was perfect for our needs. We adults had the 2 bedrooms downstairs and the boys had the entire upstairs to themselves, 1 bedroom that accommodated 4 boys and the other bedroom 2 boys. The boys loved having their own private space. Breakfast and dinner time was perfect for us to eat together with the large dining table. The cabin has everything one needs for a short or extended stay. The cabin is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. The older boys loved the upstairs deck off their bedroom to hang out, the younger ones loved the loft with the big screen TV. The cabin is about 5-7 minutes drive to town and the lake, very convenient. My only suggestions are: if one plans to BBQ bring charcoal and lighter fluid because it is hit and miss if none is left by previous guests, more towels should be provided for a cabin for 10, there were only 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, and 4 washcloths, and flashlights, we could not find any in the cabin. Also instructions regarding disposing of the trash is a bit confusing, stated on the whiteboard a code is needed to open the receptacle's, however a key is actually required. Those a very minor things and does not deter from having a very comfortable stay at a beautiful cabin. I highly recommended Silver Pine Lodge for a large family vacation.
